Cover_Bob_Hamilton.jpgPicked Off the Cherry Tree is a full-length Personal Biography, 309 pages with over 200 photos. It is based on 10-hours of interviews. The last 50 pages were a surprise gift for the subject, a collection of stories and sentiments by 30 friends, colleagues, and relatives. Examples of the inside content, including Timeline, The Year You Were Born, Table of Contents, and Chapter lay-outs are shown below.

It’s Not a Bad Life was written by the client. We edited his story, suggested additional content, and added historical background and other context. We scanned all of the images and added historical ones as well. The design came out of his love for everything Italian. The textured background colors are actually photographs of the sides of buildings in Rome. The length is 94 pages.

This 416-page book tells the story of the third oldest Rotary club in the world, established in Oakland, California, in 1909. The book contains over 2,500 images, visual timelines, fun and inspiring anecdotes, and fascinating sidebars! The story is told in a warm and easy tone against the backdrop of the innovative, tumultuous, and changing times of the twentieth century.
