Hiking and Forest Bathing on the Peninsula Presentation

Sponsored by the San Mateo County Libraries, I look forward to a lively Zoom discussion and Q&A about some of the best hiking on the peninsula and writing a hiking guide! It’s an honor to be a panel that includes the Bay Area Hiker, Jane Huber and Forest Therapy, Guide Denise Sacks.

Description

Join local authors of hiking books as they discuss their favorite hikes on the Peninsula, the process of writing a hiking book, how to encourage reluctant hikers to hit the trail with you and so much more. We are honored to bring you Jane Huber, author of 60 Hikes Within 60 Miles, San Francisco and creator of Bay Area Hiker as well as Linda Parker Hamilton, author of Hiking the San Francisco Bay AreaCamping Activity Book for Families and other great San Francisco-area hiking books.

We're also very excited to be joined by Denise Sacks, certified Forest Therapy Guide with Soul Turning in Mountain View, who will share the healing power of forest bathing and how it differs from your standard hike. Time will be available for questions and answers, and we'd love to learn about some of your favorite hikes in the area!
