Please join me Tuesday September 21 from 7:30 to 9:30 as we explore the rise of the memoir, the writing process of one, the difference between a memoir and an autobiography, and how to publish one, whether privately (for family and friends) or the public.

This is a two-part presentation. First, the story of the memoir.

Ever wonder how and when the memoir became such a popular form in literature? We’ll look at the fascinating history and rise of the genre.

In the second-part of the presentation, we’ll get into the nuts and bolts of writing YOUR memoir or life story, WHY it’s important to do so, how to get started and keep going, what to include and not include in your book, and the different processes available to take it from memories to the page (or screen).

Have you ever thought about sharing a story? Do you have a parent or another person in your life who you want to know more about? Maybe you have an elderly relative and are anxious to preserve their story before it’s too late (It can be a fun and engaging process for them too!). Whatever your interest, I hope you’ll tune in.
